Other conditions also may be attached, such as restricting the type or location of the asset, the periods during which the asset is to be acquired or held, or the disposal of the asset.") shall be initially measured at [fair value](https://asc.understandingaccounting.org/glossary/f/#fair-value "The price that would be received to sell an asset or paid to transfer a liability in an orderly transaction between market participants at the measurement date.") when the grant is recognized on the balance sheet.
